Poem Gets HS Football Player Suspended, Removed From Team

A high school football player in northeastern Ohio says he was kicked off the team and suspended from school after he wrote a poem for English class critical of his team.16-year-old Nick Andre was punished after reading the poem in class. The assignment was to write about something that made him angry, and he took out his frustration on the 1-7 Rittman High School gridiron team. Andre thinks he had a right to express himself. But he was suspended from school for four days and removed from the team for its final two games. 

In my opinion I think he shouldn't have gotten suspended. He was expressing his anger about the Rittman situation. He was doing what he was told to do .This poem was not bullying, Threatening , harassing or hazing . He did not say no names or giving any personal information towards any one. so I believe he shouldn't have gotten suspended for expressing  his opinion. His rights have been violated. 

Editorial:How to throw a function

Throwing a party isn't  easy especially in Sacramento, So don't think you can throw any party and think it's going to smack. Of you're trying to throw just a party you can, however, if you're trying to throw a smacking party that everyone's going to be talking about then you got to go over the top. Here's some tips:

Tip#1: You must have a place for your function NO PLACE, No FUNCTION!!
Tip#2: You must have the proper stuff like you have to have a DJ or a huge radio
Tip#3: You must have the proper security at your party, if not then be ready to fade at whoever is starting things at your party
Tip#4: You must have smacking music ALWAYS!
Tip#5: You must have people pay to get into your party. Don't just throw one for free get payed while throwing one like not so much money like $2 for girls and $3 for boys before 8 p.m. It's $3 for the girls and $4 for the boys after that.
Tip#6: The most important rule of all HAVE FUN!!!NO DRAMA!!

Editorial- Standing up for yourself

Stand up to bullies and don't let them push you around. Too many people let bullies push them around and walk all over them. Standing up for yourself is important because if you do you will gain self respect and respect from others.

It's possible to stand up for yourself without resorting to violence. If you use your words, conflicts can be resolved without violence.

There are many types of bullying: Verbal, Physical, and Cyber. Any type of bullying is bad and should be stopped. By standing up for yourself, you can end your bullying.

Most people are afraid of bullies and are too scared to stand up for them selves. It is better to speak out then to let them control you. If you speak out, the bullies will stop bothering you.

Speak up and stand up for yourself.

Movie Review : Prisoners

The critics say" prisoners has an emotional complexity and a sense of dread that makes for absorbing (and disturbing) viewing.''

By seeing the trailers Prisoners looks like a suitable movie that I would watch. I liked how in there was this intensity on how the two little girls disappeared and how the parents( mostly the dads) were doing all they can to get there babies back. I would watch this movies, on my behalf.

This movie is rated R and is 2 hours and 26 minutes long with mystery and suspend, drama. Directed by Denis Vileneuve  written by Aaron Guzikowski.

Editorial - Shy Boys

I think shy boys, especially boys new to the U.S., are shy to talk. It's because they didn't used to be like this in their home country. Now they are new in America so that's why they shy.

Last year in Fern Bacon I had a shy friend.  He was always shy talking to girls and others.  It seem really hard to him. I asked him why he was always shy and he said because he was scared.

Most of shy boys talk but they don't talk a lot. I used to be a shy boy , but now I am not shy that much however, sometimes I am shy to talk to girls. Don't laugh at me I know you all have been in this situation and  have a red face..

I think almost everyone knows about the Wright Brothers, that's two brothers who used to be shy when they were kid. One of them was scared talking to girls, but when they started going to high school they stopped been shying. Finally, they are the first two brothers that wereable to discover how to fly and were the first airplane pilots in the world.

So, please don't judge shy boys cause they could change the world into what you never imagined before.

Q: What do you strive to achieve with your students?

A: I strive to achieve to help students learn how to play the guitar, learn skill,hand coordination,

Q: What do you teach here besides guitar class?

A: I teach English 9th-12th.

Q: How long have you been teaching and/or teaching here?

A: I have been teaching here 11 years and have been teaching 11 years also.

Q: Do you enjoy teaching guitar?

A: I love it! I can see all my students get better, and it doesn't take long for the to get better.

Q: Do you teach guitar outside of school?

A: No.

Q: Have you ever thought about it?

A: Not really.

Q: Why is your class important?

A: There is a lot of research that people who learn how to play instruments have good social and emotional growth, confidence, and an outlet to express themselves. Also because it sounds pretty.
