Cyber Monday!

by Yessenia Sanchez

Cyber Monday is here and has gone! Did you buy something on Cyber Monday? Kohl's, Walmart, Target, Levi"s, Home Depot, Best Buy, Amazon and Radio Shack were going all out that day to take your money.

According to Marketing Land "Consumers will spend 11% more during Thanksgiving Weekend this year than they planned to spend in 2012." It seems clear that every year, more and more people are buying during the holidays. Many people are buying just about anything online, particularly electronics and electronic accessories, jewelry, baby and kid games/toys.

Amazon was trying to find new ways to ship their products in 30 minutes or less. They have begun using drones, unmanned aircraft, to make shipping easier and a bit of a novelty, too. (Wouldn't you like to have these little helicopters drop your box off on your driveway?)

This year post offices and shipping companies are on there busiest days this holiday, with mail, electronics and shipping other accessories that they will have deliver to your front steps. So get your credit cards ready because these deals aren't going to last all day! (at least that's what they claimed).

What I want for Christmas.

By: Leshay Woodside

I would like to have a Red Lexus LFA Pearl SC300 for Christmas..

So when I get my permit I can drive and not have to worry about depending on anyone to give me a ride when I can drive myself anywhere I like.

Movie review : The World's End

By Shafay

The World's End is the third installment of director Edgar Wright's trilogy of comedies starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, following the successes "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) and "Hot Fuzz" (2007). In the movie,  20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.

They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub - The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.
