Why It's Good That Burbank Is A Closed School

This is what happens when a school is a closed campus.

Why I think it's good that Burbank is a closed school? First reason is because strangers can come into the school and we would not know about it. They could attack innocent people and they could hurt or vandalize the school.

Secondly, there would be fewer kids here. There would be classes almost empty . They would miss all the work . When it comes to tests they wouldn't pass. They would not have the adequate amount of knowledge to get along in school if they are leaving regularly or not showing up to school.

Thirdly,  there could be other students from a different school come and  cause some fights with the students here at Burbank. They could trash the school, make our school look ugly.

There' are a lot of things that could happen if our school was an open campus and I believe that our school is safe  now than from what could happen if it was open.

Many students admire having an open campus, allowing them to have freedom from going in and out of school as they please. From a student's point of view, an open campus is something they would like to take advantage of, knowing that they may escape school work. Yet, many students don't know the risk that can be caused by having an open campus. Risk that may cause a dangerous situation in which would affect many students and faculties.

Luther Burbank's rule for a closed campus provides the school with a safe and secure environment that monitors people who comes in and out. Not only that, the school can also make sure that no intruders can get inside our school, keeping our students are safe. The safety of our school is the most important factor that we should all adapt in many of our schools to maintain safety of the students and the faculties in our communities.

Having a closed campus can not only provide our schools with safety but also the will to keep our students in school. Keeping the students in school would then help them be present and learning in school. Closed campus is not a difficult rule to follow but it is still not easy to adapt for many students. When introduced to the closed campus rule, it would be a great benefit for our schools.

The reason why a closed school is better than an open one is very simple. For one it keeps the students who would leave on their own in check. It's simple really, if this was an open school, students can leave at any time they want with no consequences.

 In a closed school you are not permitted to leave school grounds until the last bell which is at 2:56, if you do so you will be given mild to severe consequences depending upon the situation.

 Another reason is that it keeps out unwanted visitors from roaming the campus freely. In an open school any one can come and go, meaning any one no matter who they are can walk onto our grounds. Having a closed schools means we keep out intruders armed or not.

 Basically any one who comes without intentions to learn or do good. I say this because there are a lot of crazy and dangerous people out there and having a closed school keeps us safe.

Going back to my first reason, the third reason is because if students were able to leave at any given time then how many students would take advantage of that and ditch all the time? I am pretty sure a lot would, so in being an open school those who leave would not get the education they need later on during the year and in life.

If they don't have the education they can't graduate and or get a decent job. It may be fun and cool to have an open school but it's not fun and games when you make less than a janitor because you don't have the education you decided to skip school or even just a class for.

To me the only good thing about Burbank's closed campus is that its mainly for safety. I would like it if Burbank had a open campus. That way we can go out to eat better food than the food we have here. If the teachers can go out and eat why can't we? We are just the same as the teachers, except we are students. Who knows they might leave and not come back to school until tomorrow also.

If Burbank had a open campus it can be a whole lot better because:
1. We can go out to eat.
2. Students will enjoy school a lot more.
3. There will be a lot less of drama during lunch.
4. Burbank will be a LOT cooler.

What Is Good About Burbank's Closed Campus?

There is school staff everywhere in  school. School staff helps students to get to class and not be late to class. Students are not allowed to go outside of school grounds during school time. Staff don't let any other schools' students in this campus.

 Our school is gated. Students are not allowed to be out of school during school time.This means that criminals could not enter our school.

I think that we should always lock our classroom doors and the gates. This way the students can not leave class and come in or leave without permission.

Lastly, we should care about the businesses we have around our school. It's because we would be in those businesses and make their shops messy. Student can't be hanging around during class time.

The good thing is that no one can leave whenever they want. Students won't be wandering around. It will stop the criminals from entering our school campus. Also,  if we open campus people will come whenever they want. We should respect the businesses that are around our school.

Closed campus is better because it will prevent criminals from entering the school. I believe that we should always lock our classroom doors so that the students can't leave the classroom or get in without the teacher's permission.

The other good thing would be a gated-school campus. Thus, no one can leave. The students won't just ditch the classes whenever they want to.

What is Good About Closed Campus?

Everyone in this school would love to have an open campus, and it would be great in some instances, but if we take the time to think about it, there are many consequences that we will have to face as a school and students.  High school is important in our life as young adult because it helps us figure out what we are going to be when we grow up and do something greater with ourselves.

Theses are things that we should take in consideration.
(1) If every student decides to get up and leave the class whenever they wanted, it wouldn't be called a school.
(2) How will students complete their work and actually pass class if they're not there.
(3) Students are going to slack off and skip school more often and this will not benefit the school in any form.
(4) How would we know who steps in and out of the school. Anyone can freely attack one of the staff members or students, and safety is what our schools should be about.
