Exploring The SEVA

By David Coleman and Alisia Baca
Joseph Gonsolis

For more than 20 years, SECC( Sacramento Educational Cable Consordium) has worked with students and teachers exploring video production. The SEVA contest is open to all Sacramento county students.

It celebrates the talents and visions of student video producers. All winners and participants are recognized at SECC's SEVA Award Night each spring.

Winning videos and producer interviews are shown on cable and online.

Joseph Gonsolis made a video called Bullying: The Truth Behind Your Eyes. This video came in as one of the finale five.

What made him choose to do this video was because as a kid he was bullied and he wanted to show people the effects of bullying and hopefully open minds and eyes.

He wanted people to see how horrible bullying can be.Below is Joseph's video.
